40x30 Committee

Created in the Spring of 2024, this team is focused on how Fairport and Perinton can reduce fossil fuel emissions
40% by 2030.

This goal, along with an additional target of an 85% reduction by 2050
(or "85x50"), was defined by the NYS Climate Act (CLCPA) of 2019. 

These are challenging goals to reach! But they are not impossible, with planning and action from ordinary citizens like ourselves — and our community leaders. ​
